Discount Card Sales

The football team will be offering the Discount Cards as we do every year, but this year we are planning to sell them differently. Instead of players visiting the neighborhoods door to door, we will collect the orders online. You’ll still get to see our players though – they’ll be delivering your cards to you on August 16 and 17. So be sure to order your cards here – LINK

Football Tryouts

JV and V Schedule Adjustment – August 8 and 9

Due to delays in installation of the track from the vandalism early in the project, striping of the track will not take place until August 8.

Tryouts for JV and V football will proceed as originally scheduled, Monday, August 5 through Wednesday, August 7 with arrival at 2 pm at the Yorktown field each day.

On August 8 and 9 (Thursday and Friday), football tryouts will be held at 9:30 am-Noon at Washington-Liberty field.

The location and time of tryouts on Saturday, August 10 has not yet been established but will either be in the morning or early afternoon hours.

We expect to be back at Yorktown’s field on Monday, August 12 for freshmen tryouts and JV/V practice in the afternoon.

We apologize for any inconvenience this shift to morning practices on August 8 and 9 causes for players trying out and their families.

Celebrate the YHS Field Hockey Class 6 State Champs

Our YHS Field Hockey Class 6 State Champs will be holding one last fundraiser. Show your support for this incredible team and athletes tonight at District Taco.  District Taco will donate 10% of all in-store orders from 4 pm to closing.  Orders used through third-party platforms (e.g., Uber, DoorDash, Google) will not be counted so please DON’T use these platforms. You don’t need to say anything special for the order to be counted (just order directly from District Taco) and order between 4 pm and closing.
