Yorktown High School athletics has a lot of supporters. In fact, there are several booster clubs supporting our student athletes. However, these clubs have historically been aligned by individual sports. While this has been a successful strategy for each of the teams, it has proven challenging when focusing fundraising efforts that extend across sports to support things like infrastructure improvements. In an effort to unify fundraising efforts amongst several field sports, this booster organization was established. Since it’s founding, we’ve provided a 501(c)(3) platform for any YHS booster clubs to join. If your booster club would like to offer 501(c)(3) tax benefits to your donors, contact us at yorktownboosters@gmail.com. We don’t have any “surcharges” or “taxes” that will impact your booster fundraising. We only ask that you share in the costs of operating the 501(c)(3), which goes down each time a new club joins (currently estimated at ~$300/yr). We also will happily help you establish your web presence here, as you can see from the yhsboosters pages of the sports already participating.
