Beyond the Sidelines
Welcome Head Coach Sareena Barnes, Head JV Coach Lexie Banks, and Assistant Coach Alex Bourdouane to the YHS Cheerleading and Mascot Program!
Coach Sareena has 3 years of collegiate coaching experience at UMW. 14 years of cheering experience at the middle school, high school, and college levels.
Coach Lexie has 20 years of coaching experience. Cheered with allstar levels 1-6 and cheered through middle and high school. she will be the JV head coach, tumbling director and choreographer.
A big, warm welcome to our newest Assistant Varsity Coach, Alex Bourdouane! A former Washington-Liberty General Cheerleader, Alex, or “Coach A,” has nine years of high school coaching experience and recently returned to Arlington, VA. We’re so excited to have one of our own back to help lead our team.
