Roll Pats!!! Yorktown Varsity Boys won their first game of the season against South County on March 13. Final Score 3-0 with goals by Garuda, Tong and Hadaad. On Thursday, Varsity delivered another victory with a win against Oakton (2-1) with BOTH goals scored by Justin.
The APS School board will recognize state teams this Thursday (6/24) in a virtual ceremony which can be viewed on the APS Website, comcast Channel 70, and Verizon FIOS channel 41. The recognition will be around 8PM in the form of a video thanks. It will be recorded.

As glowingly told in the WashPo – YHS Boys defeated West Springfield 3-1 in a well played match. They will face Hylton High in Woodbridge on Wednesday. The Bulldogs beat Cosby in a 4-3 overtime thriller Monday.

An amazing season with a set of firsts for Yorktown Varsity Soccer. The boys beat Langley in the District Finals, followed by Regional wins against Oakton, McLean, and South Lakes. Ticket must be purchased for the State Semifinals against West Springfield before the game.

The Yorktown Boys Soccer won their District Final and are positioned in a great seed for the region 6D tournament bracket. The Yorktown boys have a bye on 6/10 and will play Oakton who beat W&L at 7PM @Yorktown on 6/14
The YHS Girls lost a buzzer beater of a final in PKs. What a well played hard fought game! Congrats to the YHS boys team for beating Langley in OT (3-2)
