Message from the Coaches
Team-
Arlington Public Schools will be closed Monday March 16th until Tuesday April 14th. All afternoon activities have been cancelled so no practice today or over the weekend.
Auburn High School from NY will no longer be traveling down to us during Spring Break.
Madeira has made the decision to move to virtual learning from 3/16-5/4 which means they are cancelling all their games. We will not be playing them on April 14th.
More updates will become available for the remainder of our season but there will be no coached team functions until we return after Spring Break.
The Coaching staff will put together a 1 month work out program for every JV/VAR player to work on their own.
Please avoid crowded areas, wash your hands, and stay healthy with your families during this time.

Annual Youth Soccer Clinic Fundraiser
We’re Working to secure a State of the Art Scoreboard and Sound System – Challenge Edition!!
OK Team Yorktown – We need to raise $134K to upgrade our aging scoreboard and sound system. You’ll see below that this is a significant upgrade for our student athletes. We’re officially challenging all Patriots (current and alums), parents, and friends to help us cross the goal line!
And we’re going to have a little competition….
Each field sport is challenging the others to see who can raise the most for the new Scoreboard.
Don’t play a field sport? We still need your help – so support your friends by donating to their team’s challenge!
Winning team will receive a donut party, player by player recognition at half-time on the field and on the big board at a Varsity home football game, and an unlimited pizza, ice cream and pool party!
Parents: You’re the key to our students’ success and this scoreboard will offer some awesome capabilities to enhance our programs – We’ll be able to recognize our individual athletes during games and at key events like Senior Night. We’ll be able to show live game footage in the stadium! This isn’t an upgrade to our current board – it’s a revolution!

Stadium Enhancement Effort
Be a part of our united movement to take our School Spirit to the next level with a new scoreboard!
The field sports of YHS (Field Hockey, Football, Lacrosse, and Soccer) have united in a fundraising campaign to replace our aging stadium scoreboard and sound system with a state of the art fully digital LED scoreboard. The new screen will enable us to:
Customize the screen for the particular sport being played on the field
Generate school spirit and enhance the fan experience with messages projected during the games
Recognize accomplishments of our sports teams including the two recent titles of our Girls Soccer VA State Champions (2017 and 2019)
Recognize individual athletes during celebrations such as Senior Night
Thank Sponsors who support YHS athletics, and our fan community
Improve the Sound Experience for all of our attendees
