We would like to officially welcome Allison Loranger to the coaching staff! Allison is a Yorktown alumnus, and will be coaching the Freshmen team.

As glowingly told in the WashPo – YHS Boys defeated West Springfield 3-1 in a well played match. They will face Hylton High in Woodbridge on Wednesday. The Bulldogs beat Cosby in a 4-3 overtime thriller Monday. 

Details: Wednesday(6/23) at 6pm @ Hylton High. Tickets are $10.

An amazing season with a set of firsts for Yorktown Varsity Soccer. The boys beat Langley in the District Finals, followed by Regional wins against Oakton, McLean, and South Lakes. Ticket must be purchased for the State Semifinals against West Springfield before the game.

YHS Regionals Schedule and Bracket

The Yorktown Boys Soccer won their District Final and are positioned in a great seed for the region 6D tournament bracket. The Yorktown boys have a bye on 6/10 and will play Oakton who beat W&L at 7PM @Yorktown on 6/14

Boys and Girls Soccer District Finals

Update: Congratulations to both the YHS Girls and the Boys Varsity Teams on their amazing regular seasons and for advancing to the Liberty League District Championship Games this Monday, June 7, 2021.  Both teams are playing at HOME so we have another double header.  Please encourage everyone to come out and support both teams.  The girls will play at 5:30pm and the boys at 7:30pm.  Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for students.  Our booster spirit leaders will have all our banners up and senior families should bring your player’s big head.  Also, if you are looking for YHS Soccer spirit gear, let me know.  We have white dri-fit shirts and white sweatshirts for sale as well as other items.  All teams Advance to the Region GD Tournament June 10, 14, 15, 17(or 18th).
