Yorktown Dance Team Junior Dancer Workshop
Come join the award-winning and Nationally ranked Yorktown Dance Team for a day of dancing and fun!
Participants will work with current dance team members on skills and technique, as well as a routine choreographed by the dance team officers that they get to perform for parents and friends at the end of the day!
A pizza lunch & special YDT t-shirt are included with each registration.
It will surely be an experience your child will never forget!

October 19 Begins Field Hockey Playoff Run!
Game Day at Home! YHS Field Hockey takes on Langley HS in the second round of the Liberty District Playoffs! The snack bar will be open. Grab a slice of pizza and help cheer on Varsity as they begin their Playoff run.
Varsity Game Time: 7:00 pm
Yorktown’s Field Hockey Teams Take on O’Connell HS
YHS Field Hockey takes on O’Connell High School at O’Connell. O’Connell is a quick 5 minute drive from Yorktown. Come support our Varsity and JV teams.
JV Game Time: 4:00 pm
Varsity Game Time: 5:30 pm

On Friday, September 16, YHS Field Hockey takes on W&L at home. Come support our Varsity, JV and Freshmen teams.
Freshmen Game Time: 5:00 pm;
JV Game Time: 6:15 pm;
6a State Champion Varsity Game Time: 7:30 pm;
The snack bar will be open serving pizza, popcorn and plenty of snacks and soda.

Undefeated Yorktown Girls Field Hockey team vs. Fairfax High School
Come watch the undefeated Varsity and JV Yorktown Field Hockey teams take on Fairfax High School. The home games are at 6:15 (JV) and 7:30 (V). The Freshman team has a home game against Oakton at 5:00 pm. The snack bar is open serving pizza, popcorn, snacks, and drinks. Enjoy dinner and a great game on Monday.

2022 Fall Sports Underway
After a stellar 2021 that saw ALL of our Girls Field Sports teams win State Championships (way to go GLAX, GSOC and Fockey!), along with exceptional showings in all of our other sports, we head into the Fall Sports season looking for more hardware.
Tryouts are underway for Field Hockey, Football, and Golf with games beginning in just 2 weeks!
The dog days of August are upon us, but we’ll soon be cheering under the lights at Greenbrier Stadium for Patriot Nation. I can almost smell the Chik-Fil-A in the snack bar….
